Sociopaths and Psychopaths

Q. Hi Lynn,  I'm wondering if souls choose to come in as a sociopath / psychopath? If so, is there a lesson they wish to learn or is it to provide lessons for others, or both? To be more specific, I guess I'm wondering if some choose to come in to try and overcome it or if some come in to embrace it for the learning experience of others.

A. I get that in spirit there is no "good" or "bad' or even "right" and "wrong."  These are terms used in our earthly, 3D world, to make sense of actions and organize our thoughts. Everything is focused on growth and learning. We retain our experiences from both our past and current lives deep in our subconscious.  Triggers can bring thoughts, feelings or emotions to the surface, but they mostly stay tucked away influencing our behaviors (but are very important in shaping you into the person you are).

Even though it may be difficult to believe, people do chose experience these less desirable aspects of life, including being a sociopath / psychopath.  It could be they caused pain to someone in a past life, so in the next they need the balance to have a full circle experience.  It could also be that they were put in that role and paired with someone that needed to experience a test of emotions as part of their life path.  The Universe works in balance, and sees the much bigger picture of what people need, and what needs to happen.

I am left hearing we must be all things, "good" and "bad" to fully understand and appreciate life.  It takes this complete understanding of life to ascend to the next level.  If we chose to only be "good" our human nature would eventually take it for granted.  "The sweet isn't so sweet without the sour."  We need constant contrast.

And that is all I have for this reading.  Thank you.  Love and light-

It's certainly not easy living under these conditions.

So it sounds like our souls are in a video game called earth? For learning, or fun or just experience.

When we progress to the level that we have centers that heal us with light and sound, will they also heal any psychological imbalances?

Thanks for your blog Lynn.

I think this is why they call robots and video games artificial intelligence. We humans are using computer system technology to create the very same simulations the Gods (aliens) created for us to experience this 3D world. How ironic.

This concept that there is no good or bad, right or wrong in spirit always struck me as paradoxical and even contradictory. While I believe every action is a matter of choice, just the premise that all beings must experience both good and bad is by its very definition a confirmation THERE IS good and bad in spirit, otherwise why the necessity to experience both? Is it just sufficient to occasionally just have bad thoughts, want to commit a crime, kill or hurt someone, or does one have to follow through with the dark impulse in order to experience the full spectrum of behavior in the process of becoming complete?

In a very real sense this philosophy seems to absolve the actions of a lot of bad people by saying they are merely acting on the dark end of the spectrum of the human condition. If one chooses to be "good" can you just vandalize a traffic camera and meet the necessary quota of bad behavior?

@Robert: That does make a lot of sense. I guess a better way to phrase it is that we need to experience all vibrations. In our 3D world we classify those vibrations into "good" and "bad." Good point!

@Lynn, I think a lot has to do also with past life experiences which we either learned to avoid certain past mistakes or are drawn to the same actions, as if to still resolve those issues. So much of these type of examinations are limited by semantics or even the limits of language in societies that don't acknowledge deeper realms of life.

What some call Satanism is obviously rooted in religious teachings and while everyone knows those who embrace this embody what is called "evil" (devil), it also is kind of an affirmation that the opposite pole relates to "good" or God. (this is the first time I realize the word "good" is God with an extra "O")
